Wonderful day of playing and layering with watercolours at Louise Day‘s studio 🍁🤩🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A glorious crisp winter day in the Scottish Highlands yesterday 🍁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤩

We‘re on a little road trip of Argyll and the Highlands. Who says November is dull and grey? Autumn colours are still on full show and the light is very special. Scotland is beautiful all year round 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🍁🤩

Yesterday I went to @mackintoshatthewillow in Glasgow to plan our visit as part of the Sacred Geometry creative experience next June. The 10-day trip starts off in the City of Glasgow. At the famous tearooms we‘ll get a private tour and learn how Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh have used the shapes and forms found in nature- the sacred geometry- to create their iconic designs.

Amazing work by @louiseoppenheimer at the newly re-opened @kilmartinmuseum . The words she’s written to accompany the tapestry brings the design to life even more 🤩. We popped into her studio afterwards and got a warm welcome, as always 🥰

@cowal_open_studios today! We’ve just been to see the amazing @shirleytorrance in her beautiful studio. Go and visit her - no. 31 on the map, south route!

Wow! A day after launching the 2024 Sense of Place art experience in the #outerhebrides it’s almost fully booked! We only have 1 space left (single room) - grab it before it’s gone! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤩
