As some of you know, I’m hosting grief healing retreats with my other business @fireandrainsoulspa . In February we had the Reverend Richard Coles join us as part of a documentary the fabulous crew from @mediabowledover were doing on his grief journey. The Good Grief? programme will be aired tonight on Channel 4 at 10pm UK time.

I'm not nearly posting as much on social media as I should (?) as I'm always so busy. But I got this amazing testimonial from a guest on the Iona Art Experience with Janet Melrose Artist in May, which I couldn't not share right away. Thank you, Janet, for leading a wonderful workshop! x

On the last day of our Women‘s Travel Tribe tour we travelled all the way to the Isle of Cumbrae, a small island off the Scottish West Coast, for a gin experience at @isleofcumbraedistillers . Bronwyn, one of the 5 female owners of this craft distillery, gave an interesting talk on the history of gin and women‘s role in it. Gin tasting, delicious lunch and foraging walk on the beach. Visit to Britain‘s smallest cathedral. The day was the perfect end to a wonderful trip!

Yesterday the Travel Tribe explored Glasgow City Centre, where our charming guide Sabrina shared stories and insights on the city‘s architecture, history and people. Rounded off by a delicious afternoon tea at Willow Tea Rooms 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Yesterday we left Inverness to travel back south….via Fort Augustus and stunning Glencoe. At Glencoe Visitor Centre we learned how locals lived at the time of the gruesome massacre. Quick stop at the Kelpies as they’re just to fascinating to miss out. Love this group - the Women‘s Travel Tribe - with its positive and supportive spirit.

From yesterday’s drypoint printmaking workshop at Highland Print Studio in Inverness. The women loved the session, with Jan‘s inspiring guidance. HPS is a wonderful place for local and visiting artists to use.

Beautiful drive up North yesterday, with stops to explore Highland Folk Museum in Newtonmore and the Battlefield of Culloden..

Visit to Edinburgh with the Women‘s Travel Tribe. Wee walking tour and a fab exhibition at @dovecotstudios - William Morris: The Art of Wallpaper.
