Artist and Wild at Art tutor Avesha De WolfeAbout me

I am a lifelong beachcomber and use the shells I find to texture my work. The process of rolling and texturing a slab of clay is meditative for me; turning that slab on it’s edge and building with it is endlessly challenging, fascinating and thrilling all at once. My work brings together this excitement, a deep love for the sea and a sense of whimsy into a piece of artwork for your hands.

Things I love

The smell of lilacs in bloom. The sound of waves crashing on the surf. A nice dark chocolate. An amazing meal. A full day spent beachcombing and my dog Remi.

“If I do but one thing today, may I be human sunshine for someone.”
