Art for today….created by the sea on boat hulls 😉 What an amazing trip! Sacred Geometry & the Scottish Landscape with @melissahpotter and @renigower. Nine days full of creativity, inspiration, connection, laughter, play, nature, history, music, great food and so much fun. I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful that spending all this time in the company of wonderful creative women from all over the world (guys are welcome too, of course 😉) is my actual job! I’ve been on many private tours of Mount Stuart House already, but every time I see and learn so many new things. Beautiful design and Sacred Geometry everywhere….lots of inspiration for our artwork. With @melissahpotter and @renigower A few photos from yesterday’s visit to the weaving studio of the amazing @louiseoppenheimer . Thank you for making us feel so welcome! I can’t believe I forgot to take a picture of the delicious cakes! 🧁 💕 What a fascinating talk by Will Attard at @kilmartinmuseum ! And soooo relevant for our Sacred Geometry theme! Will explained how humans many thousands of years ago used symbols and persistent geometries and how these geometries can be found in the archeology of Kilmartin Glen. Kilmartin Museum holds a Nationally Significant Prehistoric Collection and the exhibition is so well done. Productive first workshop day with an introduction to Sacred Geometry by @renigower and gelli printmaking with @melissahpotter . It’s so much fun to just play, without being precious about the results! The visit to the amazing Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed @houseforanartlover was the perfect start to our Sacred Geometry & the Scottish Landscape experience with @renigower and @melissahpotter. So much inspiration! Your May Update on Immersive Creative Experiences in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 We’re very excited to announce that the brand new art experience with @orlastevens is now open for booking! This 10-day sketching and painting trip combines the vibrant and modern with calm and ancient as we move from the city centre of Glasgow to the coastal landscapes of the Argyll coast.
