Your April Update on Immersive Creative Adventures in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Catching up on the last couple of days….visit to @skyeskynsltd , the only tannery in Scotland. Run by women, they use sustainable methods for producing their beautiful sheepskins 🐏🐑.

We had a fab day with Bev at @handspinnerskye . Needle felting in the morning and peg loom weaving in the afternoon 🧶🧶

Some photos from yesterday afternoon’s visit to Skye Weavers, where owner Andrea explained the complex process of setting up and using their pedal-powered looms with which they produce the most wonderful woven fabrics. Thank you for making our group feel so welcome! 🤩🙏🏻💕

Our visit to Dragonfly Studio was the perfect start for our Skye Textile Experience! We learned so much about sheep farming and all things wool from Annie and Adam. What a wonderful, welcoming and incredibly creative place! 🤩

Last week I hosted the first Elemental Skye art experience with the amazing @lizmyhillartist . It was a wonderful experience all round and everyone found the workshop hugely inspiring! Liz and I are already looking forward to the next trip in March 2027, which will be ready for booking soon! Get in touch to pre-register 🤩🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
